DAY 9: SOMEONE YOU WISH YOU COULD MEET

For this one, I had to think about .02 milliseconds to know who I would want to meet if I could. I feel like baseball is starting to have a recurring theme in this challenge, but hey, being honest, this is the person I would LOVE to meet, and has been for quite some time now.

Ever since you came to the Rangers in 2000, you have been my favorite Ranger. I knew even back then that you would become somewhat of an icon of the team, and you proved me right becoming the 2006 All-Star Game MVP. You've been an asset to the team from your start, and now you're one of the most veteran players that the Rangers have. I seriously can't see you playing for another team, and I really hope that you stick out your entire career with us.

Its really sad, but I have more than one Young jersey. My dad would buy my sister and me our favorite player's jersey when we would go to games, and my sister has Saltalamacchia, and Rodriguez, and a few others, but he always knew that I would want #10. There's been no straying from you as my favorite, and I think that if I met you, it would be more meaningful to me than me getting to meet anyone else that I could.
