DAY 10: SOMEONE YOU DON'T TALK TO AS MUCH AS YOU'D LIKE TO PART I

Whoo HOO! Double digits!! So, I was thinking of doing this one a little differently than the others, in two parts. I have a lot of these to write, and some are going to be harder to write than others, so I'm doing this is a fun portion, and more difficult, more personal portion. The personal part will come later, as I'm still thinking of just what to say.

MONICA JONES

Bah. Baby girl I LOVE YOUR STINKIN GUTS. I wish you didn't go to school so far away from me. I hate that every time you were home this summer I was either in Omaha or North Carolina. I want to come to Lubbock soo bad to see you, you have no idea. During the year, whenever something would happen to me, I always knew I could turn to you for support. You always answer me, and you always know the exact right thing to say. You have been by my side and supported me in my low points, and you have been there for me when I was having a good day, too. I miss you SO much sometimes, and really wish we could hang out as much as we did the summer before college. In a way, I will always be thankful for you and Andrew dating, because it brought us closer together. I love you!

ANDREW McDANIEL

I can't believe we went from friends when I was a freshman, to co-workers at the pool, to not even seeing each other this summer! I miss you a ton! You were always there for me to vent to, and you knew me better than so many people, mostly thanks to our 35 hours together every week. I hate that we lost touch this summer because we didn't work together. My mom will always call you her "son," and sometimes I think she likes you more than me! Your easy going personality draws people to you, and I have to say that I miss that in my life. I hope that we see each other soon, and I know when we do, it will be right back to how it used to be, because that is how you are. You are such a good and kind person, and I hope I get that back in my life soon!

SHAUN MIAN

Shaun, we became fast friends, and great friends. You went from "Ian's friend Shaun" to my own friend, and one of the few people I could tell anything to, and know you wouldn't judge me. I hate that I've been so busy this summer that I haven't had time to go out to Irving to see you, but I know that you're having a blast this summer! I loved that one night that I saw you and Rachel and Madison at that party, randomly, and I hung out with you guys more than the people I came with! You are such a good friend to everyone, and never let anyone feel out of place. We need to catch up sooon!

BRIAN MITCHELL

I don't know when I actually met you, but from the time that we worked together at DECATS (as you told me, because no one else wanted me) we were instant friends. In the words of Mr. Solomon, "You two are ALWAYS together!" I miss that. I miss making fun of people with you, you driving me places, basically, you. You were the only person who would drive down to my house, and I always appreciated that. Aside from the random texts and happy birthday messages, we have grown apart, and I wish that we hadn't. I always believed that we would stay friends no matter what, but college has made us distance from each other. Hopefully one day we can become better friends again, but for now you better never forget me! :)
