Peace and Love, my Brother.

So, I'm not the best at keeping my blog updated, but, hey, I'm just starting. Anyways, this weeks been suuper hectic. I did NOT want to come home from North Carolina, and Texas has just been so hot it hasn't been too fun. I'm so ready to go back to Omaha and see everyone, I'm just not ready to be back in the cold. I may dislike the weather in Texas compared to the beach, but I would much rather be in 90 degree heat (its a cold front this week!) than the miserable winters of Omaha, Nebraska. I'm moving someplace warm the second the degree is placed in my hand. I may have NO idea what I want to do with my life, but I do know that I will not be living anywhere where there is such thing as "below-freezing temperatures."

Today was kinda fun :) Jamie wanted a camera and so we went to look for some at best buy. I've been drooling over a nikon d5000 or a d40 but those are kind of out of the price range Jam was looking at, so we were searching around and found a Nikon Coolpix for a little less. It was soo cool with 26x optimal zoom and manual aperture and shutter speed settings. I was in love! haha! So we took the camera back to my house and messed with the fstop and shutter speed and what we came up with was more of a just embarrassment for me than anything else.

Tomorrow's agenda involves babysitting from 9:30am until 7. I'm not that stoked since these kids are less-than excited for me to come, unless I want to do EVERYTHING they want to do, including hitting each other. Last time I tried to break up a fight, my phone got thrown against a wall, my battery came out, and I lost my record-breaking brick breaker game. (I almost had a million points-- no joke) There should be some interesting stories about the 352 games of candy land that will be played, and the kickball extravaganza that is expected to go on. The parents won't let the kids watch any tv so I have to be very clever with ideas for the kids so that we don't have to literally go back and forth between candy land and chutes and ladders for 9 1/2 hours. If I did this as a kid, I am so sorry!
